Similar movie posters

A fun part about a remembering internet is that it allows you to collect and compare. An example I wish to point out here is about movie posters. Like any other form of art it is highly influenced by the creative climate it was made in. So looking back at movie posters it is often fun to see that those who made it basically used the same idea or set-up over and over again for a short period of time before heading over to the next.
One could cynically say they just ran out of ideas. Or you could look at it much like an artistic movement.
Besides, movie posters have a simple job: inform and interest people for a movie by using a simple picture. It doesn’t have to be an original complex piece of art; it just needs to get those theater seats filed.
Now this topic has been done to death (just Google "similar movie posters") so I'm going to limit myself to two similarities that I remembered myself. If you want more you can check out here or here.

Those slashed posters of the 90s thrillers.
A short lived poster theme of the 90s. Why don’t we make more of those? It is such a simple concept that immediately tells you what to expect.

The only more recent one I could think of.

Homage
I love those little posters that don’t hide the fact that they are recreating a previous poster. If it’s a homage it is not stealing.
